These Table Mat is made from Hilma af Klint's painting No.1, Childhood, which is part of The Ten Largest, in a series of abstract paintings created between 1907 and 1908. It is a powerful work of art that invites the viewer to contemplate the mysteries of the natural world and also of things in the universe. Through the abstract forms, delicate colors, and symbolic imagery, the art work offers a glimpse and potential of the creative spirit. We chose to make the art work woven at Ekelunds Weavers in Horred, Sweden. A factory with a strong focus on sustainability and the environment since 17-th century.

Machine wash at 60°C. Wash with similar colours with or without fabric softener. Care instructions: After washing, shake the place mats thoroughly and hang it up to dry. For best results, iron the tablet (slightly damp) lengthwise with a steam iron. For extra good results, shape the product after shaking out the product.
