These Kitchen Towel are made from Hilma af Klint's painting No.1 and 2, both called Childhood, which are parts of The Ten Largest, in a series of abstract paintings created between 1907 and 1908. It is a powerful work of art that invites the viewer to contemplate the mysteries of the natural world and also of things in the universe. Through the abstract forms, delicate colors, and symbolic imagery, the art work offers a glimpse and potential of the creative spirit. We chose to make the art work woven at Ekelunds Weavers in Horred, Sweden. A factory with a strong focus on sustainability and the environment since 17-th century.

Machine wash at 60°C. Wash with similar colours WITHOUT fabric softener. The towel should not be tumble dried. Shake out the towel thoroughly after washing and hang it up to dry. For best results, iron the towel slightly damp lengthwise. For extra good results, shape the towel immediately after shaking it out.
