The cover consists of 100% cotton in a down-tight fabric completely free of chemicals. The filling consists of duck down and feathers, which are normally no more than 6 cm long. The down content varies from 5 to 15%. All feathers are European and therefore meet all the EU's strict animal welfare requirements. This means that no feathers are plucked from live birds.The cushions are exclusively filled with feathers/down that are either recycled or with feathers/down from birds slaughtered industrially. The cushions are OEKO-Tex certified and meet the British fire safety requirements according to the 1988 safety regulations, BS5852 Ignition source 2.
